Electric Dog Fence

Electric Dog Fencing – Highly Recommended in Dog Training

The use of electric dog fences method is safe and is one of the most established techniques to keep your dog safe and close to home. Remember that dogs find strolling and playing irresistible. So if you have an inclusive and reliable hidden dog fence, you are offering your pet complete freedom to roam around your property, but you also keep them from any danger and threats that can happen outside of your property.

Electric Dog Fences

Electric fences are very affordable and one of the best alternative options from traditional fences such as vinyl dog fence, wooden dog fence and chain link dog fences. Aside from keeping them safe, fence digging can also be avoided. The systems are also much cheaper than conventional pet fencing.

Hidden dog fences are made by different manufacturers, such as Petsafe, Innotek, Invisible Fence and Perimeter Technologies, but they all work for one particular task. In addition, buried wire from hidden dog fences is perfect for large yards or acreage; the hidden field from the underground wiring reacts through the radio receiver on your dog’s collar. When your pet moves closely to the perimeter of the dog fence, there is a warning sound or stimulation. If your pet ignores this warning and continues closer to the electric underground fences, they will receive an advanced electronic correction. Eventually your pet will learn to keep away from this area of the underground dog fences when they hear this warning sound. Some other models also have an automatic shut-off that keeps your pet from being over corrected.

Wireless Dog Fences

Wireless dog fences are also much more feasible than traditional fences. Dogs also can’t jump over and dig under the wireless dog fences. Unlike wired models, you can take the wireless dog fence with you if you are on vacation. The transmitter unit simply plugs into a regular 110 receptacle. The transmitter and receiver (dog collar) have a range that allows your dog to roam. This range is also called a stay zone. If your pet leaves the stay zone of the radio fence, the collar of your dog will produce warning sound and if the dog ignores this warning, a slight electronic correction will be received and when the dog gets away and returns to the stay zone, the correction will automatically stop.

Experts have proven that underground dog fences and electronic dog fences are a humane and safe way to keep your pet in the stay zone that your dog fence has created.
