Return Policy
Puppy's Place only carries quality dog products and we stand by everything that we sell. We want to ensure that every customer is completely satisfied with their purchase.
15 Day Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with a product, you may return it within 15 days of receiving the item. Our policy is based on guidelines from our product manufacturers and distributors.

- Contact us before returning your merchandise to Puppy’s Place.
- We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We request your name, email address, order number, order date, name of item being returned, and reason for the return.
- Returned merchandise must be new, unused, and in the factory sealed original packaging. All manuals, blank warranty cards, and accessories must in included and unopened. Any free items must also be included with the return.
- Include a copy of the original invoice with your return and clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the shipping package, and on the packing slip.
Please allow 21 days from date of return shipping for the warehouse to receive, inspect, process, and restock your item. Your credit card or Paypal account will be credited once the warehouse has fully processed your return. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is being returned as a result of our error (i.e. damaged, defective, or incorrect item sent). For your protection, we encourage you to send your returned items prepaid via UPS or FedEx. We do not accept COD. Save your shipping receipt and tracking number for proof of return delivery. We are not responsible for returned packages that are lost or damaged by the return shipping company.
When exchanging an item, you will see a credit to your original pay method for the returned item, and a charge for the new item plus shipping and a 20% restocking fee.
If you are returning an item that qualified for free shipping, you will see a credit to your original pay method for the returned item minus shipping charges for both sending and returning, as well as a 20% restocking fee.
Returns will not be refunded if:
- An RMA was not requested.
- The RMA was requested after 15 days of receiving the merchandise.
- The merchandise is not received by the warehouse within 15 days of issuing of the RMA. (We suggest shipping your item with tracking availability; this way you can ensure we have received your item.)
- A legitimate order is delivered by UPS and refused at the door.
- Any free items are not included.
- The returned item is not new, as shipped. (i.e. unopened in the factory sealed package – free of pet hair, debris and/or odor.)
- Items included in the original shipment are missing.
- Items are damaged during return shipping.
- Battery packages are opened.
Missing, damaged, defective or incorrect items
In the rare occasion that there is an error or defect on your order, please contact us within 5 days of the purchase receipt so that we can promptly address the issue. After 5 days, you must contact the manufacturer about defective or damaged merchandise.
